My Top Four Favorite Books On Biblical Womanhood

This months book haul is all about biblical womanhood. One of my favorite quotes is by Elisabeth Elliot where she says "The fact that I am a woman does not make me a different kind of Christian, but the fact that I am a Christian makes me a different kind of woman." This quote captures the essence of biblical womanhood.

As Christian girls, we need to have a firm understanding on what God calls us to be. We want to be that "different kind of woman"

I want to highlight four really great books that have helped me in this area. I truly believe they will help you too.

1. Becoming God's True Woman by Nancy Leigh Demoss (Now Wolgemuth)

"As I have come to accept God’s call to be a part of this counterrevolution, I have discovered that I
Am not alone. Everywhere I have shared this vision, I have found that “deep answers to deep”; the call To return to biblical womanhood resonates within Christian women who have tasted the bitter fruit Of the feminist revolution and who know within their hearts that God’s ways are right."

"In order to learn what it means to be a woman, we must start with the One who made her.”

"Many women lack a clear, compelling, biblical vision for what it means to be a Christian woman living in the twenty-first century. They are stuck with images mired in 1950s terminology or given license to indiscriminately pursue a modern life that overlooks divine directives, bringing confusion and regret.”

"Only when self moves out of the way can His spectacular glory come cascading through your life. When Jesus is in His rightful place, all insecurity will fade away and His lasting loveliness will become the mark of your life."

So there you go. My top four favorite books on biblical womanhood. Enjoy!
